LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Galesburg, Illinois, 61401!

Pay Information

$375 to $435 per hour

About The Position

No Weekends- Gastroenterology Locums Opportunity in Illinois

Seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a rewarding locums assignment in Illinois. This is a great opportunity to provide essential GI coverage with a schedule that supports an excellent work-life balance starting in the new year.

Highlights

  • Enjoy your weekends off- no weekend shifts required.
  • Ongoing assignment for long-term stability.
  • Block scheduling available to fit your needs.
  • ERCP / EUS experience is not required.

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Provide care for an adult patient population.
  • Focus on general gastroenterology cases.

    • Schedule

  • Coverage needed Monday through Friday.
  • Minimum commitment of only 5 consecutive shifts per month.
  • Potential for night call coverage.

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Manage acute and chronic GI conditions.
  • Perform endoscopies and hospital consults.
  • Handle new patient access appointments.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Hold an active Illinois state license.
  • Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications.

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.
  • Full credentialing support provided.

    • Travel accommodations

  • Travel and lodging provided.
  • Malpractice insurance included with tail coverage.
