Our objective is to provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP technology to improve their operations. This is rooted in EY's SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech / Arch and SuccessFactors) that are focused on helping clients improve performance and increase productivity.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute deliverables with efficiency
- Manage completion of deliverables and maintain engagement economics reports
- Track resource plans and budgets, and handle project statuses
- Participate in client sessions as a workstream member or team lead
- Travel is required based on client needs, and you will be expected to maintain a chargeability level with billable hours to external clients
Skills And Attributes For Success
Understand client needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. Initiate requirements gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, workflow documentation, and functional design of the solution. Translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and / or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systemsDemonstrate in-depth technical capabilities with strong business acumen; quickly assimilate to new knowledgeConsistently deliver quality client services; monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informedEstablish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levelsAgile delivery methodologiesProficiency in application development toolsQuality assurance and software development expertiseSystems integration skillsBuilding relationships, client trust, and emotional agilityComplex problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to travel; travel estimated at 80%To qualify for the role, you must have
A four-year Bachelor's degree is requiredExperience typically 2-4 years in a relevant field, specifically integrating SAP systemsDesign and implement SAP integration scenarios using various integration tools & platforms (e.g. SAP PI / PO, SAP CIG, SAP Integration Suite : Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell)Experience with other integration tools & platforms is a plus (e.g. Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica)Hands-on experience implementing interfaces with SAP solutions using APIs (ODATA, SOAP), Events, ABAP Proxies, RFCs, IDOCs, Files, etc.Experience developing integration architecture and strategies to ensure data consistency and integrity across systemsExperience with adapters such as ODATA, SOAP, AMQP, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDOC, SFTP, Process Direct, Mail, XIKnowledge of security best practices for integrations (authentication, authorization, data encryption)Knowledge of tools for monitoring integrations and troubleshooting (e.g. SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk)Experience building B2B integration scenarios following EDI standards (ANSI X12 / EDIFACT)Experience with cloud integration platforms and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practicesKnowledge of database management systems and data modeling conceptsStrong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills for integration challengesAbility to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologiesWillingness to travel to meet client needsIdeally, you'll also have
