Commercial / Industrial Carpenters

United Trades of America is seeking skilled carpenters to join our team for various commercial and industrial projects in Nashville, Tennessee . The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry, with experience in both commercial and industrial settings. • Key Responsibilities :
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and plan work.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using tools such as rulers, pencils, and chalk.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including laborers, electricians, and plumbers.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets project specifications.
• Qualifications :
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, preferably in commercial and industrial settings.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, methods, and tools.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working on ladders or scaffolding.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
• Pay Rate :
• $20-$30 per hour
• based on experience.
