Job descriptionVolume : ~14 patients per day Population : 100% Medicare / Medicaid high need, high complexity Age Range : Exclusively patients aged 60+ (many in 80s / 90s) Language Diversity : Multilingual population bilingual Spanish strongly preferred Support Staff : Strong RN and clinician support Continuity geriatric care (not a teaching setting) Must be comfortable with complex public health / FQHC populations Procedures : Pap smears, basic STD diagnosis Board Certification : Internal Medicine Required Geriatric Board Preferred but not required Family Medicine Accepted for the right candidate Board Eligible Case-by-case; must be current in practice Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience Geriatric-focused care experience strongly preferred Licenses / Certifications : Active California Medical License Required DEA Required BLS Required EMR : Epic must be proficient with fast charting Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more! Internal Medicine physician employment in California : Locums Primary Care PhysicianLocation : San Mateo, California (Northern California South of the Bay Area)Setting : Geriatric Outpatient Clinic (FQHC Federally Qualified Health Center)Start Date : Late December / Early JanuaryContract Length : 3 months (with option to extend) Schedule
