Description :
We are seeking a pharmacy Technician-in-Training to join our team! This is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in starting a career in pharmacy. No prior experience is required, as we will provide training and support every step of the way.
As a Technician-in-Training, you will begin employment with us while completing the steps required by the State of Montana to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician. This includes :
- Provisional License : Upon hire, you will be responsible to apply for a Provisional Certified Pharmacy Technician License through the Montana Board of Pharmacy.
- Training Program : While working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will complete a structured training course designed to prepare you for certification, paid for by 406 Rx, PLLC.
- Certification Exam : After training, you will be eligible to complete the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) or other approved exam to obtain full certification / licensure.
Employees who successfully complete and receive their certification within a specified number of months may be eligible for a bonus!
Key Responsibilities :
Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.Process prescription orders and ensure completeness and accuracy.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.Manage inventory and restock medications as needed.Follow all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practices.Answer and direct phone calls appropriately.Process all sales transactions with operation of cash register.Direct customers to the appropriate pharmacy staff for prescription-related or OTC inquiries.Qualifications :
