Position Summary The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a vital role in supporting providers and patients by performing administrative and clinical tasks.

The MA ensures efficient patient flow, accurate medical documentation, and a high standard of patient care. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties :

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs, patient history, height, weight, and other information as required.
• Administer injections, medications, and immunizations as directed by the provider.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens (e.g., blood, urine) for testing.
• Perform EKGs, wound care, and other basic procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure patient comfort and answer routine questions.
• Maintain clean and sanitary exam rooms and medical equipment.
