JOB SUMMARY :
The Food & Beverage Department is a fun and exciting way to join the ski industry and the Monarch family. Food & Beverage personnel should have a positive attitude, enjoy working in all food venues on the Mountain (roles including : barista, food runner, busser, host, and cashier), and strive for providing timely courteous service to our guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
The Food & Beverage Personnel responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :
- Work as a team with other members of the Food & Beverage department.
- Prepare all food and drink items.
- Keep all storage areas appropriately stocked, organized, and clean.
- Keep work and dining areas neat and clean including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, bussing tables, and taking out trash.
- Communicate with Monarch Ski Area guests in a polite and professional manner as well as processing their food orders quickly and courteously.

- Accurately update register and POS system.

Minimum Age : 18Legal citizen of the United States or possess other proper work permit authentication.High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.Ability to push, lift, and move up to 35 lbs.TIPS certification and some previous food service experience preferred.Ability to stand for long periods of time.Requires working at high elevation (up to 12,000’), with extended exposure to adverse weather conditions, such as severe cold, heavy snowfall, rain, strong winds and intense sun.JOB TYPE : Winter Seasonal, Full and Part Time
