Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional for a senior leadership position responsible for the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of SMT's programs and solutions. This is a high-visibility, entrepreneurial role with significant influence over product innovation, client success, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver SMT's Mechatronics Skills Training Program in industrial and educational settings.
  • Train and certify client instructors to deliver SMT's Mechatronics Skills Training Programs.
  • Develop and implement strategic training and assessment solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Train and certify client instructors to deliver SMT's Assessment Protocol (AP) Skills Training programs.
  • Administer assessment programs in both industry and education settings.
  • Refine existing programs based on real-time client feedback.
  • Travel to client locations to deliver training and assessment programs (domestic and international travel required).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and process control systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train others effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SolidWorks.
  • Strong self-starter with entrepreneurial drive, vision, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
  • Candidate must be able to commute to our Merrimack, NH office to be considered for this position.
  • Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
  • Weekends as needed for travel
