Southwest, Florida – Oncology Medical Director Job

• Seeking a board certified Hematologist / Oncologist (must be board certified in Oncology as a minimum requirement)
• Help build a new cancer program in SW Florida
• Clinical academic appointment available through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine
• Clinical research through The Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University including dedicated clinical trial support staff
• Streamlined access to academic-level cancer experts and educational opportunities
• Specialty Tumor Boards in conjunction with the Lurie Cancer Center
• Innovative care models including navigator support
• Ancillary support services including social work, genetic counseling, dietary support and palliative medicine
• Latest technology for early detection, diagnosis and treatment
• Emphasis is on leadership / directorship experience – prefer 5+ years
• Practice will be a mix of administrative, some clinical and academic appointment
• Academic appointment level will be based on experience
• Join a new service line with tremendous growth potential
• 5 FTE’s are already in place (GYN ONC, and APP)
• Full-time, W2 employed permanent job
• Looking for physicians who can start 90 -120 days
• Prefer candidates have an active FL license or pending (already applied)
• Can also participate with Research Institute endeavors, but research is not required
• No visa sponsorships available
