Litigation Associate - For CarterWill Search

CarterWill Search is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a Florida-based civil litigation practice in Tallahassee . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in education law and labor & employment matters , with exposure to a broad range of civil litigation cases.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of litigation experience and be comfortable managing matters through all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, mediations, motion practice, and negotiations . Associates will also have the opportunity to contribute to case strategy and client management in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

This role offers mentorship, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to work on diverse and impactful cases .

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of litigation experience , preferably with an interest in education law
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Strong academic credentials, legal research, and writing skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
• Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and work ethic
• Active Florida Bar admission
