UCT is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join us in China!

The Manager, Business Development drives sales growth and market expansion by executing strategic plans, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored product solutions. This role oversees sales forecasting, CRM data accuracy, and contract management while collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. Key responsibilities include developing channel partners, analyzing market trends, and supporting sustainable business success through consultative selling and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Execute the sales strategy / plan to ensure the achievement of the annual sales target & market share expansion.
  • Be responsible for achieving the sales target and key business index : sales volume, product mix, growth and account receivable cage in assigned service territory.
  • Provide the consulting regarding to product / service to fulfill the needs of customer. Work with the relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive technical solutions for customers.
  • Collect & analyze product / market information & provide reference / suggestion to the PMM.
  • Maintain customer relations, provide necessary daily support & solve problems where applicable.
  • Co-work with other internal stakeholders to ensure timely order delivery to maximize sales.
  • Manage sales quotation, commercial agreement and all other contractual related activities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the sales forecasting data
  • Be accountable for data entry into the CRM to track business opportunities and sales performance through personal / team communication.
  • Develop qualified CPs to cover market distribution in responsible sales territory, develop partnership to achieve sustainable success. Mainly responsible for managing, helping CPs to work out monthly sell-through policy, monitor CPs stock management, market explore, service improvement etc
  • Other task assigned by the reporting manager.

  • Ability to travel to support business opportunities as required
  • Ability to lead and influence others toward common objectives as an individual contributor
  • Best-in-class presentation skills, with extensive experience presenting to C-suite leaders and other executive decision makers
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to distill complex sales objectives into comprehensive action plans
  • Ability to lead and influence across diverse geographical areas and cultural groups
  • Willingness and ability to use CRM to drive accountability around key business opportunities and success metrics
  • Educational / Certification Requirement :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience Requirement :

  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive sales and / or sales management experience for the Petrochemical / Chemical and Semiconductor industry Is a must.
