Busy optometry practice is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Patient Care Coordinator. This is a full-time position (32+ hours a week) and both offices use EHR. Duties include : answering phones, making appointments, verifying and understanding insurance plans, checking in patients, collecting monies and other administrative tasks. The patient care coordinator capitalizes on an outgoing personality, optimism and the ability to develop rapport with patients. The candidate must be a self starter with excellent time management and organizational skills to offer prompt, accurate and reliable service. Other essential requirements include the ability to work independently, work well with other staff members, to be accountable and a sense of professionalism.

Will train the ideal candidate. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a definite plus. The office has two locations in Highland and East Chicago, IN. Candidates must be able to travel between both offices. The offices are open Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings.
