Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Program development and compliance

• Build and maintain site EHS programs aligned with Coherent standards and legal requirements
• Review procedures, records, and practices for compliance and effectiveness

Training

Inspections and audits

Regulatory interface

Metrics and improvement

Other duties

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills

Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, DSHS, and municipal regulations

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements

Sit for up to 8 hours at a time

Review programs to ensure compliance with Coherent policies and applicable regulations. Plan, coordinate, and deliver EHS training. Serve as point of contact for auditors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies. Perform inspections, identify deficiencies, and partner with supervisors and employees to drive compliance. Develop EHS metrics, track goals, and support continuous improvement.
