This role leads and supports mechanical testing projects focused on fatigue and fracture performance of components and materials. The engineer collaborates with technicians and internal stakeholders to design, execute, and analyze tests that simulate real-world failure modes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and contribute to mechanical testing projects, especially fatigue testing.
- Develop and document testing procedures and protocols.
- Design fixtures and plan instrumentation setups (e.g., strain gauges).
- Analyze test results using statistical methods and prepare technical reports.
- Coordinate with internal and external suppliers for materials and services.
- Present findings to stakeholders in meetings and reports.
