Job description

Manager Reimbursements

This position is responsible for operational implementation of various strategic reimbursement initiatives for the system to include evaluation, planning, coordination, and follow-through to completion of such initiatives that include but are not limited to : Analysis of CMS and State legislation and Proposed and Final Rules, including analyzing the financial and reimbursement impacts and communicating results. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for various complex strategic initiatives throughout the organization including various cost-based optimization strategies, and any reimbursement methodology related to Medicare and Medicaid that have reimbursement implications.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or Mathematics / Statistics.. or equivalent combination of education and experience + 6 years Demonstrated experience in the reimbursement field with expert knowledge of current reimbursement and reporting rules and regulations. + 4 years Leadership experience, preferably with supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare. + Work experience in consulting, in a multi-hospital system, or MAC.
