Openwork Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Wound Care Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Required Skills & Experience : Two (2) years of Med / Surg experience. Wound and Colostomy experience. Required Education : Associate’s degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program. Required Certifications & Licensure : New York State RN License. AHA BLS. Current certification in one of the following : Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB. Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the WOCNCB. Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO). Job Summary : Conducts health assessment interview focused on wound, ostomy, and continence related care. Performs focused physical assessment, develops plan of care based on the diagnosis and individual client needs. Recommends medications and treatments as appropriate.
