About the Company :

Insight global hiring for a leading mortgage lender specializing in residential loan acquisition and servicing. They work with small banks and independent originators and manage loans for their own portfolio.

Role Overview :

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Underwriter to join Clients team. This role involves reviewing loan applications, validating documentation, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local lending guidelines. You’ll also troubleshoot third-party reports and support the closing process.

Qualifications :

• 3+ years of mortgage or financial services experience
• Familiarity with loan types (VA, FHA, USDA, Jumbo, Conventional, etc.)
• Experience with LO systems (Encompass preferred)
• Understanding of TRID / RESPA guidelines
• Ability to pass a background check (no felony policy)
