Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Drywall Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for drywall projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of drywall installation and associated materials, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare detailed estimates for drywall installation and related services
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather information and clarify project requirements
• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals that include itemized costs and timelines
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure quality materials are used
• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional data for accurate estimation
• Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures during the execution of projects

Qualifications

• 1+ year drywall estimating experience
• Familiarity with additional systems such as Metal Stud Framing, EIFS, Stucco, metal framing, IMP, acoustics, etc.
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation processes and materials
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
