Riddle Village, a lifecare retirement community, is seeking Dietary Aides to join our dining department team on a part-time basis.

6 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m (Full-time)

11 : 15 a.m. - 7 : 45 p.m. (Full-time)

6 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m. (32 hrs. / biweekly)

6 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m. (32 hrs. / biweekly)

11 : 15 a.m. - 7 : 45 p.m. (30 hrs. / biweekly)

About the Dietary Aide Position :

If you are friendly, sociable, love the elderly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this may be a job for you! The Dietary Aide participates in all aspects of meal service in Monticello Skilled Care and Personal Care areas, including food preparation, service, and clean-up in accordance with established regulations and facility policies and procedures.

Safe food handling, correct portion size, and quality service techniques for the dining room and room trays will be followed.

He / she ensures that food is attractive and palatable and is served in correct portion sizes at proper temperatures according to physician-specified diet orders.

Job Requirements :

• Must be 16 years old or older
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must have the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet established time deadlines and the needs of the department
• Must be able to follow verbal and written directions
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Must have a genuine interest in working with the elderly, including those with disabilities and special needs
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team
• Unless hired for a pool position, Must be able to work a schedule that includes every other weekend.
• Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for long periods; endure high heat, high humidity levels, and high noise levels;

have the ability to bend, reach and grasp, and lift 40 pounds.
