MOHS Surgical Medical Assistant

We are currently seeking MOHS Surgical Medical Assistants who will play a crucial role in assisting with surgical procedures for the removal of skin cancers and other skin tumors in a surgical setting, along with a variety of administrative tasks.

This is a full-time hourly position based at one of our nine locations throughout Northeast Ohio, with required travel between sites.

Pay : $17 - $21 per hour

Qualifications

• Certification in Medical Assisting or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Surgical or MOHS experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience taking vital signs.
• Current CPR certification.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to various Apex Skin locations regularly.
• Documentation of Tuberculosis testing and Flu vaccination required.

Perform vital administrative tasks, including maintaining patient consent and accurate records.
