Do you have a desire to make a major contribution to the future in the rapid growth environment of Cloud Computing? Amazon Web Services is looking for a Manager, Procurement Operations to help build a scalable, predictive, and prescriptive supply chain for our AIS Power and Cooling organization. You will be part of the AIS Power and Cooling Program Management team working with Category Managers, Supply Managers, Materials Managers, Project and Constructions Managers, Finance, and other partner teams to achieve our goals.
This role requires an individual with excellent knowledge of supply chain, procurement processes and tools and systems used in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in a fast paced ever changing environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of highly talented and motivated individuals, drive scalability in the Procurement Operations function, improve our automation tools and systems, and use metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvement and minimize supply chain risks. Data-driven decision-making is at the core of Amazon's culture. You will own building solutions and administering procurement risk and compliance management that enable senior leaders to make critical business decisions.

About the Team
The Procurement Operations team is responsible for onboarding new vendors, soliciting quotes from external vendors through the standard RFx process, compiling quotes to prepare a total cost of ownership summary for finance and other stakeholders, issue Purchase Orders, manage vendor invoice, and manage change orders driven by scope changes throughout the product lifecycle.
