Key Responsibilities :

  • Review and process patient billing and payments accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain and update patient account records in the billing system
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy laws
  • Follow up on outstanding balances and facilitate payment arrangements when necessary

Skills and Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in medical billing, patient accounts, or healthcare finance
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, coding, and billing procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
