About The Team And What Well Build Together
We are seeking a Principal Agentic AI Architect to define, prototype, and operationalize our approach to agentic AI at scale. This leader will own the Agent Catalog and Agent Design Guidedefining how agents are designed, governed, deployed, and evolved within our Snowflake Cortex ecosystem.
As the connective tissue between innovation and execution, this role will ensure our AI strategy translates into a clear, intentional, and executable roadmap. You will establish the frameworks, tools, and methodologies that allow multi?agent systems to operate safely, efficiently, and at scale.
How You Will Make An Impact
Strategy Execution & Roadmap :Translate high?level AI vision into a sequenced, measurable roadmap with quarterly deliverablesBalance innovation, differentiation, and commercial outcomes in a structured frameworkDrive alignment across technology, data, and business stakeholdersAgent Catalog & Design Guide Ownership :Full ownership of the Agent Catalog and Agent Design Guidedefining taxonomy, governance, design standards, and lifecycle managementCodify best practices for agent design, skill modularity, dictionaries, and evaluationEnsure agents are interoperable, governed, and intentionally architected across business linesLLM & Snowflake Cortex Integration :Lead the LLM and agentic architecture strategy within Snowflake Cortexoptimizing for scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise data governanceDefine standards for prompt orchestration, retrieval strategies, context injection, and agent memoryEvaluate and integrate multi?agent frameworks to support collaboration, delegation, and reasoning among agentsPrototyping & Approach Ownership :Prototype and test new agentic architectures and coordination patternsDrive the methodology for how agents are developed, validated, scaled, and maintainedMove concepts quickly from proof?of?concept ? pilot ? productionData & Technical Foundations :Partner with data engineering to connect Cortex agents to trusted enterprise data sourcesUse graph structures where appropriate to model relationships and context memorySupport real?time, event?driven architectures for adaptive and responsive agent behaviorGovernance & Responsible AI :Embed responsible AI principles into every layer of the agent frameworkEnsure compliance with data privacy, security, and transparency standardsPartner with legal, data governance, and compliance to ensure traceability and auditabilityCommercial & Organizational Alignment :Connect technical execution to measurable business value (growth, efficiency, CX)Communicate complex ideas clearly to executives and cross?functional teamsBuild internal literacy around agentic AI concepts and foster an innovation cultureWhat You Need To Be Successful
10+ years in AI, data platforms, or emerging tech leadership rolesExpertise in :LLM?based architectures and multi?agent systemsSnowflake Cortex or equivalent data?native AI ecosystemsAgent orchestration and prompt management frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, etc.)Data governance, interoperability, and responsible AIReal?time / event streaming and contextual memory (graph or vector)Proven ability to build frameworks that scale from concept to enterprise deploymentStrong technical and executive communication skillsExperience leading high?performing teams in emerging tech environmentsSuccess in This Role Means :A structured, actionable roadmap for scaling agentic AI aligned to business prioritiesA governed, well?documented Agent Catalog and Design Guide serving as the foundation for consistent agent developmentValidated multi?agent frameworks operating within Snowflake CortexMeasurable impact through production AI systems that drive business outcomesClear, organization?wide alignment on how we scale agentic AI responsiblyWho we are
