Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Polysomnographer Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Allied Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity : Polysomnographer - Radiology Job Details :

  • Work night shifts with 3x12 schedule
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • No weekend hours or call requirements specified
  • 1 years of experience required
  • Required certifications : RPSGT, BLS
  • Must wear black scrubs as per dress code requirements
  • Work with CPAP / BIPAP equipment, Epic EMR, Natus XL Tech, Alice G3, and Resmed CPAP systems
  • Obtain and document patient history including diagnosis and medications
  • Prepare patients and apply electrodes using international 10-20 system within 30 minutes
  • Recognize and eliminate artifacts on recordings 80% of the time
  • Complete sleep records according to department policy and ensure accurate data collection
  • Recognize and correct equipment malfunctions to provide optimal test results
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding testing expectations and requirements
  • Score and record accurate information on designated forms for physician review
  • Carry functional pager at all times with 30-minute response time requirement
  • Work with medical patients, pediatrics (ages 5), and adults
  • Monitor and eliminate various artifacts including high-impedance leads, muscle artifact, eye movements, and respiration artifact Facility : This healthcare facility operates a dedicated Sleep Medicine department providing comprehensive sleep disorder diagnostic services.
