PRN COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Job Summary:
Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of post-acute care in East Moline, Illinois, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PRN COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. As a PRN COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential and regain independence in their daily lives.
Responsibilities:
Assist Occupational Therapists with the delivery of occupational therapy services to patients, including exercises, activities, and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the occupational therapy team
Provide patient education and training on proper body mechanics, adaptive equipment, and daily living skills
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progress
Participate in patient care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
Requirements:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
