Systems Adminstrator

Peterson Technologies is seeking an entry level IT Support Technician who will support our back office with resolving technical issues and making improvements to our systems as needed.

This position is an in-office job located at our Headquarters in Elkridge, MD and can be either part-time or full-time depending on the candidate's qualifications and needs.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone) Setting up accounts for new users Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary Experience with Active Directory Administration  Experience with Group Policy Qualifications : Candidate should be willing and eager to learn  Demonstrate a basic understanding of technoloy hardware and networking Ability and willingness to obtain a high level security clearance Nice to have : NIST Knowledge BS in STEM degree Security + Certification Peterson Technologies provides for an excellent benefit package to include generous PTO, healthcare, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, 401k contribution and Tuition and Training reimbursement.  Salary range depending on experience - $60,000 - $65,000 Peterson Technologies will provide reasonable accommodations to applicants who are unable to utilize our online application system due to a disability.
