Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
- Move and position raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3 years of experience operating heavy equipment.Be over 18 years of age.Legally eligible to work in the United States.Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.Preferred candidate profile
Experience with Front End Loaders, Dozers (D6-D8), Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT), Skid Steers.Work environment and physical demands
Normal setting for this job is outdoors operating heavy equipment.Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday.Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds occasionally.Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) rarely.Required to be exposed to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Hours and location
Monday – Friday, 7 : 30am–4 : 30pm, with occasional Saturdays.Compensation and benefits
