We’re hiring for a Medical Receptionist at Greater Austin Allergy- Round Rock as a Full-Time team member in Round Rock, Texas.

As a Medical Receptionist at Greater Austin Allergy-Round Rock, you can expect to work with today’s leaders in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Supporting this team, you will find yourself; communicating with patients in-person and over the phone, scheduling appointments and injections, proactively handling accounts receivable and receiving patient payments. Medical Receptionist Education and Experience Requirements :

• Provide an outstanding patient experience during all phone conversations, office visits and while responding to patient concerns or complaints
• Operate multi-line phone system in addition to standard office equipment (fax, copy, scan, email, etc.)
• Ability and willingness to cross train and support other clinical areas when necessary
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of healthcare insurance and billing information; including processes and requirements
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the day
• Comply with regulations, standard operation procedures and state mandated laws
• Document all appointment associated tasks in the Practice Management (PM), electronic medical record (EMR) and other systems as required accurately and in a timely manner (demographics, insurance information, charge slip entry, etc.)
