Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $108,000. This position is based at our Indianapolis, IN facility. The Environmental, Health & Safety Manager will handle a wide range of administrative tasks related to the FreshRealm Indianapolis, IN facility in respect to the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. The EH&S Manager will maintain a proactive approach to safety in the workplace, developing safety reports for site leadership, identifying and enforcing preventive safety measures, conducting audits & checks, and ensuring the proper job-related training is delivered and documented. Will support a positive culture while remaining flexible, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safety-related Management functions (claims, data integrity, documentation)
• Worker's Compensation activities
• Oversee the day-to-day site security operations
• Provide EH&S training for employees on policies, regulations, and procedures
• Inspect and verify company compliance with relevant safety regulations
• Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
• Maintain accurate and current records in accordance with guidelines
• Analyze incident reports, metrics and injury case studies in order to institute changes that lead to a safer environment
• Safety Best Practices - create, maintain, manage and train
