Underwriting Assistant

We're seeking an Underwriting Assistant to service our Commercial Lines clients by offering accurate and timely responses to their placement needs while driving bottom line growth objectives of their underwriting department.

A digital MGA, Access One80 focuses on commercial and personal lines on an E&S basis. We access leading carriers in the US and UK to offer online rating and quoting for dozens of lines of business. We offer in house binding authority and wholesale brokerage services across all lines of coverage.

Your Impact :

• Answer phone to assist underwriting with agent inquiries, freeing underwriter to handle submission, quotes, and brokering. Prepare accurate quotes as requested by underwriter(s) for delivery to agents.
• Assure that electronic files are maintained and completed per company guidelines (naming, saving, separating, sorting).
• Prepare binding documentation, separate, sort and save accurately distributing to intermediary or uploading to carriers. Obtain and provide all subjectives to carrier underwriters with bind requests on brokered business.
• Prepare, and issue / review policies, endorsements, audits, or cancellations as directed.
• Prepare premium finance contracts for delivery to agents with proposals.
• Communicate with Brokers as needed.

Pay Range : 17.79 - 22.54 Hourly
