We’re committed to providing compassionate, expert care, and we’re looking for a talented Medical Assistant to join our growing team! This position will require working Mondays and Fridays in our Granville office and Tuesday - Thursday in our Coshocton office .
Monday / Friday - Granville - 7 : 30 am / 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm / 4 : 30 pm
Tuesday - Coshocton - 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm
Wednesday - Coshocton - 8 : 30 am - 2 : 00 pm
Thursday - Coshocton - 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm

Job duties :
Our head-to-toe orthopedic practice sees patients of all ages. In addition to orthopedic care, we also specialize in sports medicine, orthopedic urgent care needs, and physical therapy.
As a Medical Assistant at OSSM, you will be responsible for :
Initially assessing patients’ orthopedic complaints & screening patients for appropriate information.Educating the family / patient about diagnostic procedures.Responding to / referring incoming patient treatment-related phone calls. Instruct the patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.Providing excellent customer service by greeting patients and maintaining a friendly demeanor at all times.Maintaining compliance of OSHA regulations & biohazardous disposal.Acting as a team player : Identifies areas to assist other team members with patient care, balances the workload when needed, and actively supports the overall success of the clinic.Maintaining & reviewing patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Documents appropriately in patients’ charts.Performs other duties as directed.Education and Experience :
Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent experience preferred, but not requiredCPR certification preferred
