Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : ASAP Duration : 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Full-time hours. No holidays, no weekends, no on-call. Monday - Friday, Typically 6 : 30 AM - 3 PM (hours can vary). The hourly rate is based on experience level. Job Description : Title : Surgical Scrub Technician Reports to : OR Coordinator Main Function : The Surgical Scrub Technician (or Certified Surgical Scrub Technician) is a member of the surgical team who works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other surgical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. The technician assumes appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures. Education / Licensure / Certification Requirements Required :

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and / or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred :
• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technician or equivalent certification.
