About The Position

Must-Have :

Worked in Same Day Surgery department

Worked in Surgery Department and are familiar with starting IVs and other tasks related to preparing someone for surgery

Experience in Post-Surgery care department by providing discharge instructions related to the surgical process

Description :

The outpatient surgery unit has 18 beds and a staff of 30.

The shift for this position is from 1 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM, five days a week.

Patient ratios can be up to 4 to 1.

The unit uses standard hospital equipment and the EMR system is EPIC.

There are no on-call requirements or weekend obligations for this role.

Candidates should have skills in IV starts and surgery-related experience from both a pre-operative and post-operative standpoint.

The team typically performs all types of surgical procedures.

The preferred personality fit will align with a collaborative and patient-centered approach.
