This is a critical role that ensures our architecture and engineering teams have reliable access to the tools and systems they depend on every day.
What You'll Do
As our Systems Administrator, you'll :
- Manage and maintain servers, network hardware, storage systems, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
- Support Citrix Workspace and design applications like Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
- Collaborate with our CIO support partner on system optimization, firmware updates, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide responsive helpdesk support and assist with onboarding / offboarding.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide users through solutions with clarity and professionalism.
- Monitor network connectivity and implement cybersecurity best practices.
- Contribute to IT initiatives, documentation, and process improvements.
Customer-Facing IT Support
This role is more than just backend systems - it's about building trust and delivering excellent service to our internal teams. You'll work directly with architects, engineers, and other staff to :
Resolve advanced technical issues with patience and clarity.Ensure design software runs smoothly in virtual environments.Communicate clearly and follow up consistently on support tickets.Provide training, guidance, and documentation to empower users.What You Bring
We're looking for someone with :
3–5 years of IT systems administration experience in a multi-site environment.Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy , and domain administration.Experience with VMware, Citrix, and VDI environments - especially supporting design software performance.Strong networking fundamentals including switching, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD , and hybrid / cloud-connected environments like Autodesk Construction Cloud.Storage management and disaster recovery experience .A positive, team-first attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.Ability to work onsite daily at our Fresno office, with occasional travel to Modesto and other Central Valley locations.Bonus points if you have :
Experience supporting AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) software.Familiarity with IT project management or change control processes.Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range : $33-40 per hour (Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, location, and business needs)
