JOB SUMMARY

Meets the communication needs of the patient, family and staff. Prepares and compiles records within the facility. Initiates directions from Providers and the nursing. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and facility policies and procedures as well as standards. Provides basic patient care (not to exceed scope of practice) as directed by Providers or nursing staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Paramedic by the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
• PALS and ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
• NRP certification or obtained within nine (9) months of hire
• TNCC certification or obtained with one (1) year of hire.
