Job descriptionJanuary 19-23, 26-30, 2026 February 2-6, 16-20, 23-27, 2026 March 2-6, 2026 Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : Average RVUs 70-80 per shift Admissions : No Rounding : Not Included Phone Consults : No Case Mix : General Radiology and Light Interventional Radiology Trauma Level : No Trauma EMR System : Not specified Specialty Backup Available : Radiology network coverage (Black River and Marion sites) Support Staff Available : Facility-based radiology team Reason for Coverage : Backfill FTE; system bringing radiology in-house and pending permanent hires Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : TBD; SC license preferred but non-licensed candidates considered with FCVS Rate : Daily; OT after 8 hours and weekly OT after 168 hours Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Dosimetry Badge : Provider must supply badge on first day; MUSC reimburses up to $200 General radiology reads Light interventional procedures IR On-Site Studies : Arteriograms, CT-Fluoro Biopsies, Ablations, Embolization, Kyphoplasty, Gastrostomy Placement, Pleurx Catheter Insertion, Nephrostomy Tube Insertion, Port Placements, Tunneled and Non-Tunneled Catheters, Dialysis Graft Declots, Biliary Drainages General On-Site Studies : Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Fluoro BE-UGI-Barium Swallows, Modified Barium Swallows, Ultrasound Guided Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Galactograms Licenses : Active SC license preferred; non-licensed candidates considered with FCVS Board : Board Eligible within 5 years DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : Not specified Experience : Fellowship required Other Qualifications : Ability to cross-credential for Black River and Marion locations Perform diagnostic radiology studies and interpretations Complete light interventional radiology procedures on site Provide daytime clinical radiology coverage with no call requirements Collaborate with radiology network team reading for Regional Health Network Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
