Advance Industrial Mechanical (AIM) is seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting large commercial systems (up to 50 tons), advanced controls, and refrigeration cycles, as well as the ability to mentor and guide junior level technicians. Key Responsibilities :

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, package units, Bard units, large compressors, and motors.
• Diagnose and repair issues in evaporators, condensers, coils, TXVs, VAV systems, economizers, and hydronic pumps.
• Perform coil replacements and ensure proper refrigerant cycle operation using PT chart, subcooling, and superheat diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage (24V) and high voltage (208V–480V) electrical systems, advanced controls, and system design issues.
• Read and interpret complex electrical, mechanical, and control schematics to guide troubleshooting and repairs.
• Size and route HVAC piping accurately based on project requirements.
• Lead equipment placement, including safe crane signaling, evacuation, and OEM-compliant start-up procedures.
• Manage project resources, timelines, and ensure code compliance.
• Mentor and train Level 1 and Level 2 HVAC technicians to develop skills and team efficiency.
