Medical Assistant

Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a Medical Assistant for on-site work in Torrence, CA. This is contract work with a Fortune 100 organization. Position : Medical Assistant

Location : Torrance, CA 90501

Duration :

6 Month contract to start, potential for extension or conversion to FTE

Rate : $22.00 / Hr

Start Date : ASAP

Responsibilities :

• Rooming patients for doctor
• Conducting and entering vitals in EHR software
• Submitting patient referrals through the system
• Completing ancillary services such as labs
• And responding to messages in the EHR software
• Calling patients to schedule appointments.
• Prefer at least 6 months working as a medical assistant.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

High School Diploma or GED

Hours :

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
