As a Senior Valve Technician, you will be responsible for in-house and in field testing, maintenance and repairs. This position requires traveling as needed. Previous experience with valve testing is required. The pay starts at $40 but is based on met qualifications.

Schedule of the Senio r Valve Tech :

Monday – Friday

6 : 30 am – 3 : 30pm

Overtime may be required

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Valve Tech :

Ensure automatic flow control vales are maintained, repaired and testing

Diagnose multiple valve unites including, but not limited to : automatic control valves, safety relief valves, gate valves, ball valves and butterfly

Capability to disassemble clean inspect and reassemble in compliance with functionality and safety.

Identify root causes and suggestions to implement improvements to avoid future fails

Ability to conduct hydrostatic, pneumatic and functional tests to verify operations

Lead projects including shutdowns, upgrades and installs and coordinate with other departments as needed

Provide all required documents to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations

Qualifications of the Senior Valve Tech :

5+ years experience as a valve technician in the related fields of water distribution

Strong understanding of valve designs, controls systems and other related materials.

Certification in API 510, API 570 or ISA are not required, but is a plus

Must have experience within Cla-Val automatic control valves (3 years)

Additional Skills Required :

Effective communication and person interaction skills

Ability to use diagnostic and testing equipment proficiently

Must lift up to 75 pounds
