Little Duckling is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our fun and engaging team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and positive environment that fosters the development and well-being of toddlers while following state criteria, Paths to Quality standards, and Little Duckling standards. You will be responsible for implementing and adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of each child, promoting a positive learning environment, and being an active, proactive member of the team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create a Fun & Engaging Environment : Build a classroom atmosphere where toddlers are excited to explore, learn, and interact. Bring energy and creativity to each day!
• Adapt and Support Team : Work closely with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive environment. Be proactive in helping out wherever needed and contribute to team success.
• Follow State Criteria & Standards : Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements and guidelines, as well as Paths to Quality standards and Little Duckling's specific standards.
• Follow & Adapt Lessons : Implement the lesson plans provided, making modifications as needed to meet the developmental needs of each child. Be flexible and willing to adjust lessons based on the children's interests and abilities.
• Diaper Changing & Hygiene : Change diapers as needed and assist children in maintaining personal hygiene while promoting a clean and safe environment.
• Promote Developmental Growth : Support each child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth through age-appropriate activities and positive reinforcement.
• Communication with Parents : Maintain clear, positive communication with parents about their child’s development and classroom experiences.
• Ensure Safety and Well-Being : Supervise toddlers at all times, ensuring a safe and secure environment for learning and play.
