3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor

Qualifications : The minimum requirement is HS diploma; preferable is College degree and experience in Sanitation Procedures. Must have the ability to manage, lead and communicate with employees, check daily-shift production, load out, receiving, storage all products and total cleanliness of all Plant equipments, lines and systems. Ability to fill out routine paperwork (computer skill), force Safety-Security rules and Procedures, organizes work force in standard or emergencies and timely performs shift manuals.
Knowledge and Experience : Dairy experience is preferable, he / she will be trained to know and perform all Company, State and Federal regulations pertaining to receiving, production, shipping, cleaning and Sanitation requirements for dairy products. He / she must have a full understanding of Safety-Security regulations, GMP's, load out, receiving rules, management functions with very good communication skills and instructions for compliance to Regulations and Guidelines by the FDA to assure that food for human consumption is safe, and has been prepared, packaged and held under Sanitary conditions.
Job Summary : Daily manage the highest Sanitation conditions while food for human consumption is prepared, packaged and held. Inspect all parameters of receiving, production, packaging and holding products in the Plant. Finally, the candidate should have very good computer-skills.
Physical demands : The employee is regularly required to mostly walk (all shift), use hands and fingers, specific vision ability to close distance, color and peripheral depth perception.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Follow and maintain all Safety - Security rules and regulations.
- Follow and enforce all GMP's.
- Keeps walking all time through Plant, insure satisfactory work conditions and timely finish of daily work requirements.
- Responsible to do shift corrections and changes.
- Responsible for employees breaks and lunches.
- Responsible for receiving and storage of products.
- Responsible for communications with other Plants and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness (inside-outside) the Plant.
- Do proper shift-daily paperwork.
- Checks load out activities.
- At all times communicates with Plant Supervisor and Cooler manager.
- Responsible for the highest quality of the receiving, production, packaging and load out of daily products.
- Responsible for the employees training program and their written daily SOP's.
- Attends scheduled monthly Safety-Security meeting.
- Must apply all HACCP principals
- QC Manager, Cooler Manager and Superintendent may add some responsibilities on a daily basis.
Sanitation :
Responsible for Food quality and Safety.Daily maintain Sanitation programs, workplace GMP and SOP procedures.Preventing cross contamination and food Safety regulations.Supervising daily cleanliness of all equipment, lines, tanks, conveyors, rooms, walls, floors and force Master Sanitation procedures to the bottom of the critical control points.Do daily analyzing and identification of any physical, chemical and microbiological hazards associated with each product or equipment.Daily supervise and manage c / u crews for proper daily CIP procedures and cleanliness of equipment in 24 hours.Timely schedule equipment tear-down and their daily checks.Responsible to check or fill-up (daily-weekly-monthly-yearly) Master Sanitation documentation and paperwork.Under leadership of the QC manager daily checks all charts and production paperwork.On daily basis, per own schedule checks one valve, equipment, line or other with charm, swabbing.Control proper brush-container color requirements, Plant Pest control, GMP's, SOP's, flow (color) requirements, temperature, chemicals use for CIP and other.Responsible for corrective actions when failure is discovered during the monitoring process.Part of HACCP team, recall team and trainer of new Sanitation employees (management).Pay : $62,000-$70,000 per year
