MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding various parts and materials used in carwash construction, performing welds at different angles, and working with a variety of materials and thicknesses. Additional tasks include material handling, grinding, polishing, and using saws to cut materials as needed. This role offers an opportunity to gain diverse experiences and cross-train in welding and machining.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on various materials and thicknesses, particularly steel and aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welds.
• Handle materials and perform grinding and polishing tasks.
• Operate saws to cut materials when necessary.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean and organized manufacturing floor with ample space. The facility is quiet and well-lit, fostering a productive and comfortable work environment. Currently, the team consists of 15 members, with plans to expand to 25 by the year's end.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 / hr.
