The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic radiology procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism. This role offers a consistent three-day workweek (Wednesday–Friday) schedule, ideal for technologists seeking work-life balance in a fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities : Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Prepare, position, and instruct patients to ensure accurate imaging results and optimal comfort. Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards to protect patients and staff. Evaluate images for quality and accuracy before submitting to the radiologist for interpretation. Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure timely workflow and quality patient care. Assist in maintaining equipment and report any technical issues promptly. Qualifications & Requirements : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program – Required ARRT Certification (R) – Required Active Illinois Radiologic Technologist License (IEMA-DNS) – Required BLS Certification (AHA) – Required Minimum 1–2 years of recent radiology experience – Preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and exposure techniques Excellent communication, attention to detail, and patient interaction skills “We are an equal opportunity employer.
