Location : Remote (Must reside in the US) with occasional travel

The Revenue Integrity Charge Capture Analyst supports the Revenue Integrity Department in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant charge capture across all hospital departments. This position is responsible for reviewing encounters, reconciling charges, identifying missed or late charges, and partnering with clinical and billing teams to resolve discrepancies. The role contributes directly to revenue optimization, billing accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities :
- Perform daily and periodic charge reconciliation reviews for assigned service areas, comparing documentation, clinical orders, and billing data to identify missing, late, or duplicate charges
- Collaborate with coding, billing, and clinical departments to resolve identified charge capture discrepancies and ensure timely correction of issues
- Monitor and report on trends in missed and late charges, escalating systemic or recurring issues to the Revenue Integrity Manager
- Assist in maintaining charge capture workflows and departmental reconciliation processes in alignment with established policies and procedures
- Participate in education efforts for operational departments on charge capture accuracy, documentation standards, and compliance requirements
- Work with the Revenue Integrity Manager to implement process improvements aimed at preventing revenue leakage and enhancing accuracy of billing data
- Support system testing and workflow validation related to EMR or CDM changes impacting charge capture
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, findings, and resolutions for reporting and compliance tracking
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient and financial information
Minimum Qualifications :
Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent coding certification requiredMinimum of three (3) years of experience in hospital or professional charge capture, coding, or revenue integrity roles preferredStrong knowledge of CPT / HCPCS, ICD-10, and CMS billing and compliance standardsDetail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsAbility to work primarily remote with occasional on-site travel for meetings, training, or auditsAbout Us
