Engineer, Product II – MetalTek International

Product development engineer responsible for design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of high-quality metal castings for a diverse customer base including military, aerospace, and commercial applications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design casting and tooling using SolidWorks and ProCast; create work instructions, routings, and bills of materials for the shop floor.
• Lead new product development from concept through initial production, order review, and continuous improvement of existing product lines.
• Support additive manufacturing processes and coordinate machining vendors for wax tooling and other machining requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service internally and externally; streamline the product life cycle to reduce costs, enhance profitability, and satisfy customer needs.
• Provide direction to internal and external support resources and occasionally perform hands-on work to develop work instruction methods or move key projects forward.
