Job description

Overview

Join to apply for the Drone Assembly Technician role at Valinor . Condor is expanding small UAS production in New York. This role is critical to scaling manufacturing capability and supporting rapid growth. It starts as a 6-month contract with potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

What You Will Do

  • Perform precision mechanical assembly of small UAS platforms and subassemblies
  • Conduct electrical assembly, including soldering and wiring
  • Support component / assembly testing
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or integration issues with engineering support
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop in accordance with ESD and safety protocols
  • Support continuous improvement in assembly processes and documentation

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with mechanical and / or electrical assembly
  • Proficiency in soldering and wiring for small electronics
  • Familiarity with 3D printing, drones, UAS, robotics, or RC systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to read and follow technical assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Compensation

    $25 - $35 an hour. Estimated salary range. Compensation for this position will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.

    Location and Compliance

    Location : New York. Employees will have access to information, materials, and technologies subject to U.S. export controls (EAR and / or ITAR) and must be U.S. Persons, as defined by 22 C.F.R.
