About The Position

One weekend call (Friday, Sat, Sunday) Description : Unit Notes : 50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSELICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION- # of suites / labs \"3 Cath Lab / IR- 1 Hybrid Rm- 7 Holding rooms\"- #cases per day on average 16- Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?)BLS, ARRT- Common diagnoses / Types of patients\"Cardac (PCI & diagnostic- LHC & RHC, pacemaker implants), vascular, IR cases, mediports and dialysis caths, & AAA Stenting (hybrid lab), Equipment : impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto\"- Job Duties \"4 person team in the lab including 2 RNs & 2 Techs.- 1 tech that does all imaging, 1 tech scrubs- Techs do not typically monitor or document on patients \"- Experience or 'Must have' skills\"Must have 2 years of Cath Lab experience Need to be trained in scrub or imaging, or both- Must have some exposure to IR and pheripheral vascular cases- Must have experience with impellas, IABP, shockwave, IVUS, FFR, IFR, swans, roto\"- EMR / Equipment GE MacLab, will be switching to Phillips Xper in 2026- Cardiologist hours / on call24 hours on call - Is there a manager / Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?Yes, charge helps with flow of the day and assignments- Cath Lab Techs6- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)3- 12 hrs shifts from 0530-1800, weekends, holiday, and after 1800 on call- Weeknight / Call Requirements2 shifts / week, typically follows a day that they work - Weekend / Call Requirementsevery 3rd weekend- Holiday / Call Requirements May be asked to go in the Holiday Call Rotation - What is call response time?5 person team (2RNs 2Cardiovascular techs), 30 min response time - Floating RequirementsNone- Scrub Color / Dress CodeProvided, royal blue- How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation?2-3 shifts with a preceptor Cancellation may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week assignment and 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks. Charting Corporation - Soarian BSN License to Trauma Level : Care Shift plus call, Varied on call during the week. One weekend call (Friday, Sat, Sunday) every other or every 3rd weekend Required (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
