Machine Operator 2nd Shift (4x10 Schedule)

Mueller Water Products is the nation's leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries and has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in our newest Kimball, TN facility. Come be a part of something that sustains and enriches the lives of every human being. As a Machine Operator , you will play an integral role in one of the final stages of our production process. Proper testing ensures that our products are at their best ensuring that they will serve our customers for years to come.

Essential Functions :

• Operate mills, lathes, rubber, paint, blast, laser, and brake press machines
• Loads or feeds mechanism by lifting stock into position
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
• Maintains specifications by observing machine operation process; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions.
• Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs as directed
• Will be required to cross train and work in other departments as needed
