Staff Accountant

Job Description :

Accountants support our general ledger accounting team and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. They are required to have a strong accounting foundation and attention to detail.

What you'll do :

Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations

Preparation and review of fixed assets and prepaid expenses

Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies

Assisting with financial statement audits and accounting projects

Conducting ad hoc financial / operational analysis as required

Experience you'll bring :

Strong understanding of US GAAP

Advanced knowledge of Excel

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytic abilities and time management

Some public accounting experience preferred

Master's degree in accounting preferred

Requirements :

Requires a minimum of 2 years of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's degree, or an advanced degree without experience.

Hybrid Work Model : This role follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site work at our Westlake / Dallas, TX office Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This role is primarily performed in an office or home office setting and involves standard computer-based work.

Pay Transparency :

The US base salary range for this role is $56,600- $78,600 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
