Team Lead

The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of physician billing & collection project(s) and the management of the project staff. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and meeting or exceeding the operational goals of our clients and company. The Team Lead will and may work closely with their team, Team Leads, Operations Managers and the client to work on opportunities with new and emerging approaches to our clients' business processes. This position will follow and ensure that client and company policies and procedures are followed and will also perform any and all job related duties as assigned.

This is classified as a hybrid position requiring to be in the Lewisville, TX or Mitchell, SD office 2-3 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting staff to be successful and work as a team
• Manage day-to-day problem solving and first point of contact for team questions
• Quality assurance reviews, feedback, and other trainings as necessary
• Ability to work with other leads to develop policies and procedures as needed
• Overseeing all aspects of the client including charge posting, payment posting, adjustments, insurance follow up, and patient collections
• Organizing and facilitating regular team meetings and client meetings
• Mid-year and year end employee reviews and feedback
• Organizing team building exercises
• Attending leadership trainings
• Strong understanding of PM system and supporting software / systems used
• Handling all vacation and sick requests
• Handling employee and client issues when appropriate and in absence of the manager
